@susiemccann I have 2 similar lights which I attach o clamps to permanently and ai transport them in an old speaker stand bag. Not the best way, but there is a divider in the bag and it keeps them from getting scuffed up.

just saw them in real life and the beams went past my house. i felt like the beams can go more than half of a kilometer

I never tested the shehds 7r version. These fans were a bit loud in my opinion, but in most regular use case scenarios, not an issue. If I was in a small venue and I was playing music for a Ceremony then Reception in same room, I would turn them off for Ceremony. If that helps.

@KrisSzanto not sure if like the prism, the previous model has a nicer prism this is just a circle ring so you lose a lot in the middle. The wash effect looks good though.

I have never used the 19R... I like the 10r because of its brightness, but it's HEAVY. What type of events do you typically do? Can you use haze?

@@danielroos5426 What r u trying to accomplish in the settings? Sorry.. once you are in there you rotate the knob to go through settings.

@@KrisSzanto I'd like to expand my colors from RGB to RGBA. Also, I'm just concerned that I can't access the menu. Seems like it must be broken unless there is a way to reset. It shouldn't simply go to an Exit screen.

@danielroos5426 When you see EXIT rotate the knob counter clockwise for menu options.

@TheDumbTake-xb6rr Thanks for checking it out. Not sure what your looking for. I have never tried these outside, but would imagine the images would be visible on a surface. (Like seeing a laser pointer) If you are wondering if you would see the beams, probably not without some atmosphere and probably only the beams that are a bit thicker on appearance - probably depends on viewer angle as well. It has some nice coverage and can have a fun effect with or without haze. It is a simple old style effect, so it depends on your taste and desired effect. It can be used with the remote - no dmx. Also has a fixed power chord.

@_lolalana_ I'm sorry, I had to find a manual for those and they will not be compatible. Looks like their first dmx channel is a color chasing mode. (Won't work correctly with Tetra)

@@KrisSzanto Just for our band, i bought a couple of the spider lights that you demoed last year, 6 of the RBGW, color strobes from ADJ, 60,000 lumen audience blinder and a few various wash lights. We don't use dmx so all are placed on sound and I control them with foot pedals. ( bass players can do that LOL). It works for smaller venues quite nice.

There is a lot more control using a dmx controller. What controller - how many channels - The dmx control is a bit tricky to get around, but one you know it there's alot.

It works fine when I click it. 🤷‍♂️

Hey, thanks for watching. Depends how you are using it. If using DMX there are a few different channel possibilities. The lower channel options have a master Dimmer - CH1 If you go into the 50+ channel operation they are all separate. I believe I was using Chauvet Showexpress when doing this video which gives me more options. How are you using it? Did you refer to the manual?

@KrisSzanto I don't have any sort of DMX capabilities, I am just using the menu on the back of the unit. I looked in the manual for dimming but didn't see anything on it. The only thing I can come up with is turning down all the color values. I am learning about DMX and how to do it.

They are very similar in brightness. The biggest difference is the weight. This one is much lighter, but the 10r has more options. Depends what your looking for. 🤷‍♂️

I use Chauvet Showexpress. I am sorry I do not know about your software.

It has sound active, but there is no way to limit its movement or stobing. I do not suggest using the sound mode on these lights.

Happy it helped. Just an FYI- there is a newer version of tetra control coming out. Should be by end of July I think. Will allow you to use a couple of Venues moving lights. Stay tuned for more info.

Are you programming with dmx?

@joshrodrigues5310 You can not control speed when it is in an auto or sound mode. But, that is pretty normal for most lights unless there is a slow auto program. (Not adjustable)

These are simply auto programs that either fade through many color possibilities, jump or snap... the individual lights will not be different colors. In my experience you will only see that type of effect with lights that offer higher channel options. If this was the case there would probably be an additional 35 channels.

The Tetra controller is not intended to work with moving lights. However.... there is a new version coming out that will work with the revolver. (TETRA 2) I am sorry I am not sure exactly when it will roll out, but the final testing is happening very soon. I hope you were not mis informed by anyone.

I would probably upgrade as one of my cue buttons is pretty much shot, but at an age where I dont spend un necessarily. Lol

I was safe at keeping them from shooting into the sky. Kept it pointed slightly down from a 10-20 ft height. I am pretty responsible like that. Also, have a flight app to know when aircraft are nearby and shut it down if that was the case. Was only done for demo - havent used it outside since. (Had to poumce on that hazy opportunity lol)
